In collaboration with the foundation “Avec et pour autres”, the Freie
Universität Berlin International Summer University (FUBiS) has the
pleasure to award 10 scholarships (5 full-tuition and 5 partial-tuition)
to qualified candidates from Central and Eastern Europe.
These scholarships support students from accredited universities in
Central and Eastern Europe. Awards will be based on the applicant’s
academic achievements and financial needs.
The value of the full-tuition scholarship is 2.810 Euros and 1.910 Euros
for the partial-tuition scholarship.
Requirements
The applicant should be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited
institution in Central or Eastern Europe. Applicants must have
successfully completed at least one year of study at higher education to
qualify for the scholarship. Most subject courses are taught entirely in
English, some entirely in German. Depending on language of instruction,
English resp. German language proficiency on an intermediate level is a
prerequisite for students interested in partaking in a subject course.
In addition, FUBiS offers German language courses on five different
levels of proficiency.
Deadline
Scholarship applications and required documentation are due by May 15th, 2007 (date of postmark).
